Dear Wentworth Residents,
As your Chief of Police I am aware of the confusion that has been raised recently regarding the new Inspection Law Change that was scheduled to take place the end of January 2026. A Federal Judge has made an emergency ruling putting that new law on hold effective immediately. So, what does that mean to those of you that have state inspections due on your vehicles. Technically it means that the New Hampshire state inspection law that was in place prior remains in place until we get further direction. The New Hampshire Attorney Generals Office has commented on this issue and asks that all granite staters be on the lookout for future guidance regarding this issue as it becomes available to us. When we receive further direction and or guidance regarding this matter, we will get that information out to you as soon as possible.
